High pressure has moved overhead today and will continue to move eastward. This will bring sunshine and warmer temperatures into the weekend.

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s.

Mostly sunny skies again tomorrow as highs push into the low 50s.

Clouds will increase a bit this weekend as weak low pressure moves by to our north late Sunday. High temperatures will continue to warm, reaching the mid 50s both Saturday and Sunday. There is also a slight chance of a shower Sunday night into Monday.

Mostly Sunny Into The Weekend

High pressure will continue to push into the area today, moving overhead today and tomorrow. This will cause skies to clear today and remain mostly sunny for the next few days.

Highs today will be in the mid 40s.

Tomorrow will be very similar to today, with more sunshine. Highs will again be in the mid 40s.

The high will move off the coast tomorrow night and Friday, allowing temperatures to warm to near 50 on Friday and into the 50s Saturday.

Nice Stretch Continues; Cold Front Crosses Friday Night

The tranquil weather continues as temperatures slowly climb through the rest of the week.

Clouds will decrease today, leading to a mostly sunny afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Mostly sunny skies tomorrow with highs in the upper 50s.

Thanksgiving Day looks to be very nice. Highs will be around 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

We will see clouds begin to increase on Friday, but it will still be pleasant with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.

Tranquil Thanksgiving Week

A week of cool, tranquil weather is on tap, as high pressure brings a mix of clouds and sun and near normal temperatures. A cold front will cross over the weekend, bringing colder temperatures and stronger winds.

Today will be partly sunny, with highs in the mid 50s.

Tomorrow will be similar to today, with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Travel day Wednesday will still feature more clouds than sun but it will be a bit warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Mostly Cloudy Today; Cold Front Passes Tomorrow

High pressure will push off the New England coast as a cold front approaches from the west today. After a foggy start, expect mostly cloudy skies today with highs in the mid 60s.

The cold front will move close enough tonight to bring showers to the area after dark.

Some of the showers may produce brief gusty winds and heavy downpours.

The showers will continue into tomorrow morning as the front clears by afternoon. Highs will be in the low 50s.

Warmer Weather on the Way

High pressure will continue to build into the region today and slide off the coast this weekend. This will lead to mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.

Expect sunny skies today with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunshine continues tomorrow as highs continue to climb, topping out in the low to mid 60s.

More sunshine and even warmer temperatures are expected Sunday, as highs climb to near 70.

Clearing and Breezy Today

The Nor’Easter spared us yesterday but brought over a foot of snow to parts of Northern New Jersey and almost 5 inches to Central Park in New York.

It continues to move northward and away from the area as high pressure moves in behind it. This will lead to clearing skies today, but will also cause winds to increase, gusting to near 30mph this afternoon.

Highs today will be in the low 50s.

All Eyes Toward the Weekend

Easterly flow around an area of high pressure off New England has allowed fog and clouds to develop this morning. Meanwhile, Hurricane Sandy has strengthened to a Category 2 storm near Cuba.

The clouds due to moisture off the Atlantic will persist into the afternoon, keeping high temperatures in the low 70s.

Expect drizzle to develop tonight into tomorrow morning as easterly flow continues. There should be some partial clearing tomorrow afternoon with highs in the low 70s.

As Hurricane Sandy continues its northward trek, it will combine with the high to the north to maintain and enhance the easterly flow in our area. This will lead to a cloudy Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Partly Sunny Today; Still Watching Sandy

A disturbance moving by to our north has brought high clouds to the area. The clouds will persist today, with some breaks this afternoon. Highs will be around 80 degrees.

High pressure off the New England coast will set up an easterly flow tomorrow. This will bring in more clouds and a chance of drizzle as we move towards tomorrow night. Highs tomorrow will be held down by the increase in clouds, topping out in the low 70s. Areas west of I-95 may push into the mid to upper 70s under more sunshine.

Friday looks like to be similar to Thursday. Partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 70s.
