High pressure will continue to push eastward today, continuing the pleasant and sunny weather. Highs today will be around 70 degrees.

The high will push off the coast tomorrow allowing southerly flow to develop and bumping temperatures up a bit. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies.

A weak cold front will move towards the area on Wednesday before stalling out just south of the area. Light showers may accompany the front as it pushes through Wednesday afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80.

Sunny Today, Cold Front Crosses Late Tomorrow

High pressure will slide off the coast today, providing another sunny day today and for the majority of tomorrow. Highs today will be around 80 degrees.

A cold front will approach tomorrow afternoon and isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of it. Expect a mostly sunny, breezy and warm day with highs into the mid 80s.

Clouds will increase late in the afternoon as the showers and thunderstorms move through. Strong gusty winds are possible with any storm that develops.

The front will clear the state during the overnight and cool Canadian air will filter in behind it. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70 degrees.

High pressure continue to control our weather. After a chilly start to the day, expect abundant sunshine and highs in the mid 70s.

The high pressure will begin to move off the coast tomorrow as our next weather maker begins to move towards the area. In the meantime, expect more sunshine tomorrow as temperatures warm a bit and dew points rise. Highs will be in the low 80s.

A cold front will move through the state Saturday night. Ahead of the front, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday afternoon and evening.

Highs Saturday will be in the low to mid 80s.

Sunshine to End the Week

The cold front that brought unsettled weather, heavy rain and gusty winds to the area yesterday has pushed off the coast and allowed cooler and drier air to begin to filter into the area.

Expect decreasing clouds today with highs in the low to mid 70s. Temperatures will fall into the upper 40s to around 50 tonight under clear skies.

Thursday and Friday will feature abundant sunshine with temperatures in the mid 70s.

Showers and Storms, Severe Weather Likely This Afternoon

A strong cold front is approaching from the west while an area of low pressure ahead of is bringing rainfall to the state. One round of rain pushed through overnight and another round is currently pushing in from the west.

The entire state is in a Slight Risk for severe weather this afternoon, with the greatest chances east of the mountains. The Storm Prediction Center has placed this area under a 10% chance of tornadoes this afternoon.

Expect rainfall to continue to build through the morning with thunderstorms developing after noon. The best chance for severe storms will be later this afternoon and evening as the front moves closer. Damaging winds, heavy rain and isolated tornadoes are possible. Please stay alert and check for watches and warnings as we move into the afternoon.

Low Pressure to Bring Rain to the Region

High pressure will be pushed off the coast today as a warm front moves northward through the state. Clouds will increase through the day and there is a chance of rain later this afternoon into tonight. Highs today will be in the mid 70s.

A cold front to the west will combine with an area of low pressure to our southwest to bring widespread rainfall to the area. Showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight through tomorrow night.

Expect a breezy day tomorrow, with locally heavy rainfall. Rain totals well over 2 inches will possible in many areas. Additionally, strong to severe damaging wind will be possible with any thunderstorms that develop. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Another Sunny Day; Cold Front Passes Tonight

High pressure moves off the coast today, providing one more day of sunshine and pleasant temperatures before being replaced with a weak frontal passage tonight. Highs today will be in the low 80s.

The weak cold front will push through late tonight and tomorrow morning. At this point, it appears that there won’t be much if any rainfall with it. The front should clear the state during the morning hours tomorrow, bringing in a reinforcing area of high pressure. Expect mostly sunny skies by afternoon with highs in the mid 70s.

High pressure will briefly control the weather on Sunday, bringing another mostly sunny day with highs in the mid 70s.

Sunny Today; Frontal Passage Late Tomorrow

The high pressure that has controlled our weather this week will begin to shift off the coast today while continuing to bring sunshine to the area. As it shifts, temperatures will increase a bit with highs today and tomorrow into the low 80s.

Expect another mostly sunny day tomorrow, with clouds gradually increasing through the day. A cold front currently to the west will push through the area tomorrow night, bringing the possibility of a shower as it does.

High pressure builds back in for the weekend, bringing mostly sunny skies for both Saturday and Sunday with highs back into the mid to upper 70s.

Canadian high pressure brought cooler and drier air to the area yesterday. The high at the weather station here in Millersville was 75.9 with dew points in the low 50s. This morning, the temperature dipped down to 48.6 for our low for the day.

Expect more of the same today with highs in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will begin to increase each day as we move towards the weekend, but we will remain mostly sunny through the end of the week. Highs tomorrow will push into the low 80s with low to mid 80s expected Thursday and Friday.

High pressure will deliver a mostly sunny day today with highs around 90 degrees.

The high pressure will be pushed off shore as a strong cold front approaches and move through the area tomorrow bringing numerous showers and thunderstorms to the state.

Some of these storms could become strong to severe tomorrow afternoon, with damaging wind gusts as the primary threat.
