A low pressure system currently over Arkansas and Tennessee will continue its trek to the northeast. In doing so, it will bring a warm front through the area tonight, causing temperatures to rise into the 50s. The warmth will be short lived, as the system will then drag a cold front through tomorrow morning. Rain associated with the front is expected tonight and tomorrow morning. Total rainfall of up to a half inch is expected statewide.

A warm front will cross the area tomorrow morning, allowing light rain to develop late morning and into the afternoon. The rain will become more widespread and heavier tomorrow evening as a low pressure develops along a cold front that will cross the area late tomorrow night. Skies will begin to clear by Friday afternoon, but not before .50 to .75″ of rain has fallen.
A warm front will push through the state this morning, finally eroding the cold air that has been locked in since Friday. Temperatures are already rising above freezing and will continue to rise into the mid to upper 40s.
