High pressure will remain off the coast as a cold front approaches from the west. This front will increase southerly flow ahead of it resulting in a breezy day today.

Additionally, it will cause an increase in instability as we move into the afternoon. Thunderstorms are likely throughout the state this afternoon and evening. Some of the storms may become severe with damaging winds as the primary threat. Highs will top out around 90 degrees.

The front will move into the state tomorrow and then stall out. This will keep thunderstorm chances in the forecast through the weekend and into next week. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 80s.

Warmer with Showers and Storms

A stationary front has moved north of the area as a warm front. This has put the state back into warm and humid southerly flow.

The warm and humid air will support scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms today. Highs will top out in the low 80s.

The warm up continues tomorrow, with highs pushing into the mid 80s under partly sunny skies.

Thunderstorm chances return Wednesday afternoon with highs again in the mid 80s.

With high pressure remaining off the southeast coast, our stretch of very warm weather will continue today. Highs will be in the low 80s under partly sunny skies. There is a very slight chance of a pop up afternoon shower.

Tomorrow will be even warmer, with highs hitting the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Thursday will start out sunny but clouds will increase during the day with showers and thunderstorms moving in by late afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday evening and during the overnight. Highs Thursday will reach the 80s.

Clockwise flow around a high pressure off the southeast coast will bring the first big warm up of the year while keeping rain chances to a minimum through mid week.

Today will be partly sunny, with highs in the mid 70s.

Tomorrow will be even warmer, with a slight chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm.

Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies with highs will be around 80 degrees.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the low 80s.

Scattered flurries or snow showers will be possible this morning before skies turn partly sunny by afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s.

High pressure moves overhead tomorrow, allowing for sunny skies and high temperatures into the low 50s.

The high slides off the coast on Sunday as another area of low pressure spreads clouds into the area on Sunday.

Highs on Sunday will reach the mid to upper 50s.

Warm Today; Cold Front Passes Tonight

As high pressure is pushed off the coast, and a cold front approaches from the west, southerly flow will push temperatures to near 70 degrees this afternoon under decreasing clouds.

The cold front will cross tonight with very little moisture. There is a very slight chance of a shower as it crosses late tonight into tomorrow morning.

Otherwise, expect clouds and the humidity to decrease through the day tomorrow as northwest winds increase. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Mild Start to the Week; Cold Front Passes Tomorrow Night

The much anticipated warm weather will arrive today as high pressure off the coast sets up a southerly flow. Highs today will push into the mid to upper 60s.

Tonight, temperatures will only fall into the mid to upper 40s in most areas.

We will squeak out another very mild day tomorrow, as highs continue in the mid to upper 60s under partly sunny skies.

The cold front will push into the region Tuesday night, bringing with it a slight chance of showers through Wednesday morning. Lows tomorrow night will be in the upper 40s to around 50 and highs on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Partly Sunny Today; Unseasonably Warm Weather Ahead

High pressure will continue to move off the coast today. As it does, a backdoor cold front will push into the area tonight allowing patchy fog to develop tonight into tomorrow morning.

Highs today will be in the mid 50s.

With the front still across the area, expect another partly sunny day tomorrow after the morning fog burns off. Highs again will be in the mid 50s with easterly wind.

The front will push northward on Sunday as southerly flow takes hold. This will allow temperatures to warm into the upper 50s to around 60.

Nice Stretch Continues; Cold Front Crosses Friday Night

The tranquil weather continues as temperatures slowly climb through the rest of the week.

Clouds will decrease today, leading to a mostly sunny afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Mostly sunny skies tomorrow with highs in the upper 50s.

Thanksgiving Day looks to be very nice. Highs will be around 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

We will see clouds begin to increase on Friday, but it will still be pleasant with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.

Warm Week Ahead, Colder Next Week; Watching the Tropics

High pressure will remain in control of the weather for much of this week, sliding off the coast and allowing temperatures to warm. A cold front will then bring in much colder air for next week while a tropical system develops in the Caribbean.

Ample sunshine is on tap for today. Highs will be around 70 degrees.

Tomorrow will feature a bit more cloud cover but despite the clouds, highs will push well into the 70s, possibly approaching 80 degrees.

More of the same is expected Wednesday and Thursday. Partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
